On last week's show of The Healthy Entrepreneur we addressed the therapeutic side of a man having a healthy emotional heart but I feel we can't fully address this issue without discussing the spiritual healing of a man's heart. I'm excited to have Pastor Silas with Children of God Full Gospel Church out of Monroe, NC on the show this week who will be discussing the healing of a man's spiritual heart and as an entrepreneur how a wounded heart can affect his business.
Because we are not programmed to see men as emotional beings and provide a safe place for them to express their feelings, men are more apt to suppress their emotions. Research shows that when you suppress your emotions your body suffers with:
*impaired memory
*mental fatigue
*bad sleep habits
*elevated blood pressure
*weight gain
*digestion problems
*unstable moods
These conditions can lead to heart and lung problems such as heat attacks, problems with circulation as well as cause some cases of allergies. Our mind, body and spirit are all interconnected and when one is out of balance they are all out of balance. But we have to start at the root of every issue and condition and that's why this week's show is so enlightening. Pastor Silas teaches us the spiritual tools necessary to help the men we love heal from a wounded heart.
The path of spiritual healing is a powerful one and is the only way to walk in the Best Version of yourself. I know life has a way of bullying us around and then leaving us to live a life feeling broken-hearted but we serve a God that heals the broken hearted and bandages their wounds Ps 147:3 NLT. It's time to let the pain go!! Men, you don't have to walk around wounded and hurt. You have a healer and his name is Jesus Christ and because of HIS sacrifice "Optimal Health is already yours!! It's your Birthright!!!"
